Hunley rallied during the night but was just not strong enough to get himself back to normal. For such a little creature he had such an adorable personality. We will miss him. We will replace him. Nonetheless he'll be missed.

Movie Recommendations

The Town & Animal Kingdom- These are two separate movies but I'm reviewing and recommending them together. They are almost the same movie except one focuses on a crime "family" in Boston and the other on a crime "family" in Australia. Guy Pearce is in Animal Kingdom and he was one of the reasons I rented this disk. He's good but he's sporting an odd porno-stache. That was hard to ignore, there, on his lip...like a baby gray squirrel, napping.
The Social Network- definitely a good movie, not so sure about the acting other than Jesse Eisenberg, who was very natural and believable. I wonder if Mr. Zuckerberg has ever been tested for Aspergers Syndrome?
Despicable Me- LOVED THIS MOVIE
Superbad- this is such a raunchy film BUT as offensive as some of it is I laughed at the utter absurdity of it all
Alice in Wonderland- Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter is delightful as are the critters in Wonderland.
Inception- makes you pay attention to all the action
I Have Never Forgotten You- a documentary about Simon Weisenthal and the Holocaust that in its sadness is oddly uplifting.
Once- I thought this was a beautifully romantic film.
Eclipse: The Twilight Saga- this was the best of the 3 although I still had to fast-forward through the werewolf stuff
Love Actually- a holiday film with a surprisingly good cast
The Phantom of the Opera- with Gerard Butler
The Kids Are Alright---good song, Same High by Uh Huh Her
The Golden Compass
The Mayor of Casterbridge- Ciaran Hinds is my new fav actor.
Monsters vs. Aliens- Tim & I thought it was funnier than the kids did.
Juno- surprisingly amusing for the subject matter
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Iron Man
Sweeney Todd
Enchanted

When you have to check the calendar to make sure what day of the week it is.
When you believe your children hid the TV remote to spite you. Then you find it wedged between the couch cushions on which you were sitting.
When you realize the car you've been trying to get into is not yours.
When you get mail from AARP at least once a week.
When you tell your children that vegetables are good and actually believe it!
When shoe purchases are made based on comfort instead of sexiness.
